Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Creating new relationships with customers over the phone – expect to have a minimum of 3 set telephone appointments per day and make a minimum of 15-20 calls per day, and spend a minimum of 2 hours/day selling to customers over the phone.

  • Maintaining and growing strong relationships with current customers.

  • Providing customers with sales quotes and online demonstrations of our products.

  • Collaborating with other members of the inside sales team, inside Sales Manager and other members of the Gale team.

  • Managing a geographic territory

  • Listening to customers and prospects.

  • Effectively understanding customer needs, solving problems, and developing solutions to meet customer needs

  • Using a contact management system to plan and complete sales activities, create quotes, develop a pipeline and move opportunities through the sales process to close.

Responsibilities

Required:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university or equivalent experience

  • At least 2 years of inside (telephone) sales experience.

  • Previous consultative sales experience and/or training.

  • Experience or ability to generate and close business with new customers.

  • Experience or strong aptitude for developing and maintaining relationships with business customers.

  • A positive attitude and a vigor to pursue new directions

  • A demonstrate ability to adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications

Required:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university or equivalent experience

  • At least 2 years of inside (telephone) sales experience.

Preferred:

  • 3-4 years or more inside (telephone) or field experience.

  • Experience selling to the education market.

  • Experience using contact management systems, such as Siebel or Salesforce.com.

  • A demonstrated record of meeting/exceeding sales goals in a complex and changing sales environment.
